BUKIT LAWANG-SIMOLAB-TANGKAHAN ( 6 DAYS TOUR )
ITINERARY
DAY I ( NORTH - SUMATRA )
Pick Up from Hotel or Airport you will driving to Bukit Lawang by following palm oil, rubber plantation
and villages about 3 hrs driving, this day is your first day to enjoy a Leuser and stay in our accommodation side of the Park, and take a meal in our special cooking traditional or western food.
DAY II ( JUNGLE TREKING )
Today is your time to explore the jungle by walking and stay 1 night camping to observe some Animal and their life, enjoying and see face to face with Orang Hutan in the Jungle.
DAY III ( RAFFTING IN BAHOROK RIVER )
After Lunch in the jungle you will enjoy and dance in the river by inner tubs back to our lodge about 1 ½ hrs driving on the river, see Thomas Leaf Monkey and Orang Hutan On the way back.
DAY IV ( HOT SPRING AND WATERFALL )
Driving in to the small village of Simolab Ecotourism by 4WD car about 1 ½ hrs through palm oil and rubber plantation, enjoy natural hot spring and big Waterfall in simolab, back to our lodge in afternoon.
DAY V ( TANGKAHAN THE HIDDEN PARADISE )
Driving to Tangkahan ecotourism ”the hidden Paradise” by 4WD about 2 hrs driving by following villages, palm oil and rubber plantation, arrive in Tangkahan and enjoy surrounding, after lunch your time to take around in the jungle by riding elephant, bathing, and feed in the River.
DAY VI ( BATS CAVE EXPLORING )
Jungle trek in to rainforest National park and enjoy a lot of Bats in the cave, picnic lunch in the beach and rubber tubing to lodge, it’s your activities today. Back to Medan driving about 4 hrs by vehicle.

DAY I ( KEDAH DRIVING )
Pick up to your Hotel and Driving to Kedah Village about 12 hrs driving and you will stop in some interesting view like Karonese Island Berastagi, Flower garden, and vegetable garden, Kedah is a small village located in Aceh province, Arrive late afternoon in lodge of Kedah and enjoy dinner traditional and strong coffee of Aceh.
DAY II - DAY IV ( TREKKING TO ANGKASAN PEAK ( 2.891m ) TRIP )
This demanding trek leads us for 2 days through dense rainforest, climbing from 1.400m to the peak of Angkasan with alpine Flora. There will be a good chance to spot Sumatra Orang Utan, Siamang, Python, King Cobra, Sunbird, Sumatran Trogon, others. If you are lucky Tiger will be frequently our neighbor.
DAY V ( DRIVING TO MEDAN )
After finish your trip to exiting Angkasan Peak, last day in Kedah you will enjoy villages and relax in waterfall near a lodge until lunch and driving to Medan check in for Night Stay in comfortable Hotel.
DAY VI ( END YOUR TOUR )
After Breakfast drop of to Medan airport.

DAY II – DAY IX ( TREKKING TO ALAS VALLEY WITH HUG WATERFALL )
First day we will climb to the Gunung Angkasan peak at 2.891m, day 2 - 3 we hike through pristine rainforest, before we reach the Alas river in the afternoon at 1.500m sea-level.
On fourth day we reach the 200m high waterfall at the Alas, and enjoy the tremendous view and scenery. We take a chilling bath at this extraordinary place and stay overnight. There will be chances to see wildlife as usual, Sunbird, Clouded Leopard, Bulbul, Partridge, Sumatran Green Pigeon and other. Return to Bungalows takes another 2 days.

DAY 2-DAY 13 ( TREKKING TO GUNUNG LOSER PEAK ( 3.404m )
Starting at our lodge at Kedah at an altitude of 1.400m, we trek 2 days through primary rainforest with dense vegetation, up and downhill at altitudes between 1.000m and 2.900m. Night-camps near of the rivers. From day 3-7, we move at altitudes above 3.000m in alpine areas, with an unique vegetation and moss. Usually we reach the peak of Gunung Loser after day 7.
DAY 14 ( DRIVING TO MEDAN )
After finish your trip to exiting Gunung Loser Peak, last day in Kedah you will enjoy villages and relax in waterfall near a lodge until lunch and driving to Medan check in for Night Stay in Medan.

DAY 2 To DAY 13 ( TREKKING TO MOUNT GUNUNG KEMIRI 3300m )
The peak of Gunung Kemiri is at about 3300 m. Its possible to reach the top and come back in 4 days if you accept about 6 to 8 hours daily walking time. We recommend a more relaxing hike in 5 days. So if you short in time you can go up to the 2nd highest mountain of the Leuser National park. From the top its an excellent view over the national park.
DAY 14 ( DRIVING TO MEDAN )
After finish your trip to exiting MOUNT Kemiri, last day in Ketambe you will enjoy villages and relax before check out to Medan.
DAY 15 ( END YOUR TOUR )
After Breakfast drop of to Airport.

Day 1 : The Journey Begins
Your tour will begin with feel and welcome a cold town of Berastagi, enjoying vegetables garden, fruit market/garden, flower Garden, traditional villages and food, this town about 2 hrs from Medan the Capital of Medan City.
10 am/your flight : Pick up from Hotel / airport and driving to Berastagi.

Day 2 : Sibanyak Volcano Climbing.
This volcano is a big volcano mountain in North-Sumatra, walking about 4hrs both up and down, Sun rise will say hello with you in the morning time, swimming in the big Hot spring in the end of the trip.

Kedah is a small villages border to Leuser National Park, this are is good for adventurer to get a different activities in the Jungle. The virgin jungle and area will potential for you to get best point of Animal and plants Like : wild Orang Utan, Thomas Leaf Monkey, Maccaque, Gibbon, and other species, You may see Rafflesia Flower in the Jungle, everything here is Natural and still quite of area.

03pm : Arrive at Kedah and Check in a Simple Lodge.

Day 4-7: Exploring Jungle of Leuser.
This trek will give you challenge to get more learning about the botanical of the rainforest Leuser, the Tabacco, chili garden will looking beautiful from the top of mount Leuser, This Jungle really still virgin from the visitor and very big chance to see the wild animal in Sumatra population. Stay in the camp every night, wake up of the animal and cold of weather will include your trek.

Day 10 : Tangkahan ( Home of Elephants )
Welcome smile of Local people and the beautiful market on the way, passing away of palm oil and Rubber Plantations, about 3hrs driving to Tangkahan including your free time in the local market.

10am : Driving to Tangkahan
12pm : Lunch.
03pm : Arrive and check in Tangkahan lodge.
Meet and great with Elephants
07pm : Dinner
Day 11 : Elephant Patrolling and Bathing.
Tangkahan is a ecotourism area with have 9 elephant, they came to Tangkahan to helping patrolling and protecting this area for illegal lodging, and today you have time to join with them for protecting this area and controlling from the bad effect of Nature. Waterfall, Hot spring, Butterfly Beach, Clean and Cristal River, will include your time today.

10am : Elephant patrolling and Riding to National Park.

About 2 hrs driving to Bukit Lawang by 4WD, Bukit Lawang home of Orang utan with rehabilitation Center.

09am : Driving to Bukit Lawang
12pm : arrive at Bukit Lawang, Lunch,and check in.
03pm : Feeding of Orang Utans in the rainforest of Leuser.

Today your have special activities to choose, just stay in the lodge or join with guide to Feeding platform in the morning.
